Strong metal vocal on cool Metalcore track with minimal non metal vocal. Shadows Fall play King Of Nothing. Strong rapid drums behind mostly spoken metal lyric telling us plenty. Band holding back until 3 minutes for a little guitar. Too many words for me. Chimaira with Coming Alive next. Guttural vocal over staccato drums, guitars allowed to play vocal dominates. Poison The Well with Cinema. Post Hardcore rapid playing behind metal vocal keeping up, wimpy rock voice joins in & takes itself seriously. We gratefully return to fast metal play and vocals. Rock voice returns. Track 5 is No Good Son by Maylene & The Sons Of Disaster. Southern Metal is a Genre and it rocks. Great mix of hard rock playing and neat lyrics.
