It serves its purpose well. Only thing that I didn't like about it is that the part you put your hands in is made for large hands. When the other person hit the mitt too hard the mitt flew off my hand, if I wasn't holding it tight enough. Unlike some of the nicer / pricier sets, there is not a lot of padding, and for anyone who trains regularly that will quickly become a problem. My training partner and I, fairly small individuals, quickly destroyed the padding in the center and shortly thereafter the seams holding the glove part began to tear and fall apart. I have since purchased better gloves with a noticeable difference. If this is for a younger kid or very casual training you may be fine. But anyone who trains seriously or is looking to train seriously invest in something better. It's pretty disappointing how quickly these fell apart, don't recommend |
