This is the way to go if you're just starting out on drum set and are on a tight budget. As you advance you may want to upgrade to cymbals with more depth and subtlety - or maybe not. These seem well made. I haven't had them very long but they seem like they should hold up over time. Again, you can't beat this amazing price and until you know something about cymbals - i.e. what's considered a good/great cymbal, you might as well go with these and get practicing. They definitely won't offend and you may be pleasantly surprised.
