Generally speaking though, I would assume that most people needing to insulate their outlets probably live in old homes, as I do. My walls are plaster and are fairly uneven in spots. I was able to get these installed on a few outlets, but because of the added thickness when installed, I had trouble in spots that were not flush. It's not a fault of the product necessarily, but something to consider when purchasing them.
