This pad is a thin piece of rubber with a thin section of carpet padding glued on underneath. Completely unfinished on the bottom. It does pretty much what it says. I stand on concrete and have plantar fascitis so I need a pretty comfy mat. This one does the job, and is made of recycled material, which is the main reason I bought it.
