My size 6.5 skates fit in the side pockets very comfortably. You then have the whole center compartment to store gloves guards snacks... whatever. There is a nice little zipper pocket that I store my music in. One other big plus.... you don't have to worry about taking your skates out of your bag every night to dry because the side pockets are a plastic coated netting! It has room for everything I need at my practice and lessons, and the ventilation lets the skates dry quickly. It's easy to carry, too. I strongly recommend it to anyone who has their own skates.
