This little vacuum weighs practically nothing but is highly efficient on both wood floors and carpet. It has a long retractable cord and can be used w/out a paper bag. It is exactly what I needed to supplement my very heavy Kirby that I'm going to keep upstairs from now on. I highly recommend this vacuum.
