82 of 90 people found the following review helpful General Purpose rope made in China., By Waiting "Wildrat" (Mount Clearwater) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Emergency Zone 50' Green Rope (Misc.) This is just General Purpose rope and it is made in China. It is OK rope suitable for tent lines, lashing, hanging food up in tree, tying people up, etc. It is not Para Cord like someone said, that being said it could be Chinese Para Cord which could explain why they hit the ground with a thud. If you want General Purpose rope just go to one of the DIY stores and put the money for shipping with your rope money and buy a better rope. The rope is about 3/16th's of a inch thick. It is Olive Drab in color and does not have individual cords inside. It is just General Purpose rope. 97 of 110 people found the following review helpful Lies, Lies, Lies, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Emergency Zone 50' Green Rope (Misc.) no doubt this is the WORST purchase i have ever made. the picture is a lie. the picture is of parachute cord (what i thought i was buying), it's not. it's the kind of rope that borders the shallow end of the pool. oh yeah, and it's canary yellow. this is false advertising. it's both reprehensible and insulting. wth? 8 of 9 people found the following review helpful cord, not rope, not paracord., Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Emergency Zone 50' Green Rope (Misc.) be sure you know it is not paracord nor is it rope it is dual core nylon cord.I bought this thinking it was paracord but that is what I get for shopping tired. not to be rude but this stuff is not a good purchase or a great product. you can get real paracord for 4 something rated for 550lbs do that, it is also made in USA and tested I.E.
