If that problem wasn't enough, I also find it hard to find a bag big enough to hold my boots because of the size of my feet. This bag fits my size 31 ski boots (laying down on the bottom), with secure padding for checking-in on an aircraft with plenty of room on top for items such as; jacket, pants, helmet, goggles, and gloves. It is also has a handy shoulder strap. I was very excited to receive my fantastic bag within 3 days of ordering it, thank you so much Amazon & Dakine!! My boots fit perfectly in the bottom compartment, and everything else fits in the top compartment. I keep my helmet, goggles, and gloves in there all the time and then pack clothes when I'm leaving on a ski trip.I used it as a carry on bag last winter when I went to CO to ski - a weekend's worth of ski and apres ski clothes fit in the top compartment along with the other gear items! As an airplane carry on, I had to pull out the helmet in order for the bag to fit in the overhead compartment - the helmet sitting on top of my boots made the bag just slightly too tall for the overhead bin. Aside from the amazing amount of gear and clothes that fit in the bag, I love the rugged, water resistant material (water proof maybe? The separate compartment in the lower half holds a pair of ski/snowboard boots perfectly. It is also lined to trap moisture but contains some vents to not let the water simply sit in there forever.In the top portion I hold my helmet, two pairs of goggles, three pairs of gloves, two beanies, a scarf, various knick-knacks and my season pass. Having everything contained in one central bag makes it super easy to pack and I have yet to forget anything on any ski trip. Forget about putting your boots in plastic bags and throwing everything in the trunk. This bag keeps everything perfectly organized and readily available. |
