I was pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful this knife is. The different shading of the blue from dark to light really adds to visual appeal of this knife. I have decided to try collect the other Blue Bone styles also. Knife is small but has a nice little "heft" feel in the hand. Fits just right the change pocket of my jeans and dress slacks and you hardly know it is there. Blade comes out stiffly but easily and locks into place snuggly without wiggle. The blade is thin but strong, making it perfect for envelopes or cutting open packages. I recommend it. I had been carrying the Peanut for a couple weeks, and I really liked it, so I decided to give this one a try.My thought was that maybe this would be even BETTER for everyday urban pocket carry, since it is only one layer thick, and has a bit longer handle and blade. I found that, true to it's name, the blade is thin and pointy enough that it DOES do a fair impression of a toothpick, better than the Peanut in that regard. I also found that the thin blade is slightly better at things like peeling fruit. The tip does have a bit of flex to it though, so plan on doing any heavy cutting toward the base of the blade. The handle shape has that graceful curve, that to me, looked a little bit hillbilly, but it really does fit well in the palm of the hand.
