Briwax is a solvent based blend of beeswax and carnauba wax. Briwax has long been recognized by furniture restoration professionals as a premiere, multi-purpose furniture wax. It produces a lustrous patina, not a glossy surface shine. It is suitable for use as a finish on new wood or stripped furniture, a reconditioner for old or damaged finishes, a furniture wax for fine furniture and antiques or an antiquing agent where the desire is to "age" a newly painted carving or project. Tinted waxes can be lightened or removed with the clear wax. 16 oz.

we purchased this wax for our french antiques. after living in Europe for several years, we acquired several wooden casegoods. these pieces must be polished with french wax every 6 months. since returning to the states, we have been searching for a wax. we have found Briwax to be very suitable for our antiques. the wax is thin and goes on easily. it is very nourishing to the wood. we use the dark on our walnut and Breton oak pieces. it is best to wear plastic gloves when polishing with Briwax as it will stain your hands.

I used this paste on antique furniture and it made the furniture look new. It does clump and dry in corners, but you can go back and clean it out. I love the product!
