1 of 1 people found the following review helpful Spectacular deal, and a really versatile set, February 9, 2012 By  Timbill - See all my reviews This review is from: 6" 8" 10" Fully Adjustable Roto Toms Drum Set with Double Braced Stand I'm not a standard percussionist (I play in an avant garde improvisational group), so I went in simply looking for a cheap set of roto-toms that would fulfill its basic function, and be inexpensive, so I wouldn't feel bad when I abused the crap out of them. It turns out, they are really versatile, whether you're using them in a standard kit/context, or playing like me--tympani mallets, brushes, broomsticks; 4 hands, 1 set (1 to change pitch on the fly while one plays); or even bowing the frame (Don't let the frame get too damaged, and it'll ring out beautifully with a well rosined bow).
